IRC Soup Bowl Donation of $100
We are excited to be participating in the Samaritan Center’s 27th Annual Soup Bowl fundraising event taking place on November 7. The Samaritan Center provides transitional housing for homeless families with dependent children in Indian River County. Handcrafted clay bowls will be created by volunteer potters and local chefs will prepare gallons of soup for the event. Indian River Clay is thrilled to be a part of this important fundraiser.
We have a lot of work to do until then and we need your help. Our plan is to create 300 wheel thrown and hand built bowls (which will generate $6000 for the Samaritan Center) at the Indian River Clay studio during the next few months. This will require a coordinated effort and of course your help. We need clay, glazes, kiln firings and volunteer assistants to make it happen.
Please help us support this important fundraiser for homeless families of Indian River County with your donation of $100.
