Screen Printing for Clay Decoration
Paricipants will learn how to make screen printed transfers from the design to the actual printing of the transfers. This two day class covers creating the design, transferring it to a screen, screen printing the underglaze transfer and using the transfers on actual clay pieces. Day 1 covers the screen printing process. Day 2 examines how to use the transfers on clay. One of the most exciting aspects of this workshop is that the participants share their printed transfers with each other.

Materials To Bring: 1 pint of Velvet Underglaze, color of your choice, darker colors are more dramatic (before the class, leave the lid off overnight to 24 hours to thicken it)
