Intermediate Skills- Handle Study
In this 3 hour class, the instructor will introduce the participants to numerous handles and how to make them. Participants will then recreate the handles and attach them to the vessels. At the end of the class participants will have a "Handle Vase" to which they can reference when making handle pieces in the future. Glazing the sample vase is the responsibility of the participant and is not included in this class.

Clay Skills To Be Learned: Handles
Materials To Bring: Participants must bring a fresh or soft leather hard vase with unembellished sides. The vase must be no shorter than 12" tall with a side/diameter of no less than 6" on which to attach the handle samples. The sides must be robust, no thinner than ⅜" thick. The style is up to the participant but it must be conducive to attaching handles onto. Participants must also bring matching clay from which to make the handles.
