Chabana Pillow Vases w/ Maria | Sunday January 15th | 1pm-4pm
Chabana Pillow Vases
Join tea vendor and pottery instructor Maria Sparsis for a Sunday afternoon clay/pottery experience. You’ll start with a gongfu tea ceremony, to get in the mood, followed by creating several small chabana vases. Chabana is a form of Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, but intended for a tea room. It focuses on simplicity and elegance, while emphasizing nature and the time of year.
Pre-Registration is required.
