Framed Hand-Made Tile Mosaics
Each student will create a 12 x 12 inch framed tile mosaic by creating the overall image, transfer the image to Wedi Board, trace the image onto a sheet of plastic, and using the plastic as a template, hand cut the tiles out of slabbed clay.
The tiles will be bisque and then glazed by the student, fired again, and then assembled using glue and grout to complete the piece.

Clay Skills To Be Learned: How to create hand-made tiles, and making images using the tiles
Materials To Bring: Clay knife, Kemper WLS tool, sponge. All other materials are provided by instructor
