Beyond the Basics on the Wheel
Are you ready to refine your beginner wheel skills and branch out into new shapes while developing your personal style? This Saturday class is the supportive environment you've been looking for! Over the 8-week session, we will explore the anatomy of a pot, learn to add volume, and practice different lid shapes. This class is most suited for those who have previous wheel experience. At a minimum, you should have familiarity with centering and pulling cylinder walls; perfection is not a requirement!

Cost: $260
Materials Fee: $30 per bag of clay (cash/check made payable to Indian River Clay)
Class Dates: Saturdays January 25 & February 1, 8, 15, 22 & March 1, 8, 22
(NO CLASS MARCH 15)
Time: 9am - 12pm
Length of Class: 3 hours per class/8-weeks
Materials To Bring: Apron, towel, beginners tool kit (available through Amazon or at Michael's). Students will need to purchase a 25lb of clay from Indian River Clay at the first class by check or cash for $30. Clay fee also covers glazing and firing.
