This class is not suitable for beginners. Basic familiarity with slab rolling and joining is necessary. Students will use patterns to cut out and decorate the parts of the lantern, and will form, and join multiple pieces, to create a unique, functional, garden lantern. Students may return, if they choose, to glaze or underglaze their lanterns, after they are fired, or the instructor will glaze your lantern for you.
Pre-registration is required.
