Beginning Wheel—Form, Function & Fun
In this dynamic eight-week course we’ll focus on learning the fundamental skills and best practices on the potter’s wheel. You’ll learn ways of centering, pulling up and expanding forms to make mugs, attach handles, and create and trim a variety of bowl shapes. Emphasis will be placed on structure, function and surface design with weekly demonstrations and individual attention. Tips on glazing with pizazz will also be included. Join master potter Nancy Blair for a creative, fun and productive adventure.
